The brief
Pink ceramic floor and wall tiles were not Matt and Eva's aesthetic in their newly purchased home. Made took time during the design phase to deeply understand the couple's goals and how they wanted to make the space more their own. With a bathroom style stuck in the 50's, the goal was to bring it into the future while maximizing storage in a small layout.
The approach
The design team bought the couple's vision to life by adding shelf space, a floating vanity with ample drawer space, and selecting neutral white tiles of differing shapes and textures for visual interest. Optimizing for storage space, the architectural team created the feeling of more space in a small area by removing the underutilized tub and replacing it with a walk-in shower.
The result
Made took a tiny, dated space and modernized it with thoughtful storage solutions and a quieter color palette, while giving the young couple the stylish functionality they were seeking.
