Finding space & harmony in conflicting styles
The brief
Aishwarya and Rahul had a small dated primary bathroom that needed some design love that could find harmony between Rahul's minimalist and modern taste with Aishwarya's more vibrant and trendy preferences. Made's task was to bring their bathroom goals to life while maximizing the shower experience, taking it from tiny and cramped to one that's far more inviting.
The approach
The design team took note of Rahul's frustrations with having too many floating shelves by keeping things nice and simple. We balanced their contrasting styles with a largely minimal white palette while bringing in pattern and texture with mosaic tile to infuse the space with the variety Aishwarya desired. Brass and black fixtures in combination with the blue vanity add moments of wow to the space.
The result
We embraced the challenge of maximizing a small space and delivered a minimal, yet vibrant, bathroom to meet our clients' stylistic goals.
