A spacious sanctuary to wash away the day
The brief
With renovation experience under her belt, Lisa wanted a partner who could explore a new spatial layout for a tub to walk in shower conversion in her master bathroom. She wanted a clean and sophisticated look for this main bath that would become her in-home sanctuary. Made stepped up to the challenge.
The approach
In partnering with Lisa, we discovered magic in the contrasting design details that she hadn't realized she wanted. We used warm wood tones on the floor and cool marble inspired subway tiles on the walls. Warm walnut accessories contrast the cool blue vanity, while bold matte black plumbing fixtures play off of brighter brass accents in lighting. The entire space comes alive and makes the new layout flow. The freestanding bathtub centered in front of the window creates the perfect focal point, truly making this an indoor retreat.
The result
A master sanctuary of complementing contrasts, bathed in warm and cool currents of color, made just for Lisa. Her primary bathroom came together in a blissful balance.
