Black, white & modern cures renovation blues
The brief
Not new to renovation, Stephanie came to Made to avoid the many aggravating issues she had the first time around. Issues included unclear communications throughout construction and misalignment between design and the final built space. We listened and introduced her dedicated account manager, interior designer, and build partner. We explained in detail how we work together with her to deliver on her vision for a modern primary bathroom with a level of service that is more complete and inclusive than any other renovation solution in the market.
The approach
With clear direction from Stephanie on a contemporary look for her primary bathroom, the design team got to work. By keeping the color palette restrained with blacks, whites, and grays while adding a chevron tile pattern to make a bold statement in the design, the team was able to create the sophisticated look she had envisioned. We then defined the edges of the shower with contrasting black trim to give a subtle nod to the European trends that Stephanie gravitated towards in our design discovery.
The result
Made gave new hope to Stephanie's perspective on home renovation by showing her it was possible to bring her contemporary meets modern aesthetic to life with transparency, care, and craftsmanship throughout each phase of the project.
